Collapsed Bridge

You wanna talk about a collapsed bridge? Today, around 600pm, a bridge spanning the Mississippi River collapsed in Minneapolis. Several people were killed, many injured...a big mess. I think I've driven over that bridge when I took my family there last summer while I was working. My son Christian just about fell in love with the city, and has been asking to go back there ever since. I find him fascinating, his thoughts, desires, behavior and just his pure angelic handsomeness. I can look at the boy and see love, joy and crushing passion. He will grow to be a happy, inspired man one day. He fascinates me everyday and everytime his image enters my mind. I wonder if sooner or later he will ask about that bridge and still want to go back to Minneapolis. He's sensitive to catastrophes like that.
Here's an instance of another bridge that has collapsed: the one between my mother and me. No one has died or has been injured. This bridge does span a large river as well, one of time and history...33 years. Did she look st me when I was younger and think/feel the same as I do about Christian? I wonder. Because now she tells me that what I'm doing now is worse then being a homosexual. A comparison to the type of people she refers to as, "the Gays". I proper noun for a proper person. I clearly don't share her disdain for homosexual people. What I'm doing to further destroy this crumbling bridge is studying the bible. The same, if not more accurate, bible she believes in. The reason for the disturbance is the Holy Trinity. If you followed the link you would've read that basically it is a mystery that tries and fails to axplain that Jesus Christ IS God and the Holy Spirit. All 3 are one. Clearly a mystery that 3 entities are 1 and 1 are 3 simultaneously. I've always had questions about this, as it's a huge question-mark that has no answer. There is no answer and is explained away in the church as a mystery of faith, that we cannot put into human terms because it is beyond our human brain's comprehension. I find it uncomfortable basing my faith on one single mystery being at the center. I found through studying the bible recently with Jehovah Witnesses in my home that there is, of course, no proof of the holy trinity. That Jesus is the son of God and no more. Jesus is not God, God is God and Jesus is Jesus. As I am Tim and Christian is Christian. As said in John 3:16. As written in that link, it's the definitive center-piece to the Christian faith. If you believe john 3:16 you're a Christian and if you don't, then you're not a Christian, very plain and simple. That is why that scripture is the most cited and popular. I have read that scripture and more preceding and following that many times and have found no mention of the Holy Trinity. Again, God sent his only begotten SON... God didn't send himself in the form of his son's body. It's fairly simple and straightforward. My mother swears, "I am walking off of a cliff into a big mistake". I'm not calling myself a Jehovah's Witness, but I am studying the bible. It's not the bible, or the fact that don't believe in the Holy Trinity that bothers my mother, it's the Jehovah's Witness. For years my mother has heard and read tings about JWs, that really bother her for some reason. A lot of people don't care too much for JWs. I think it's because they come to your house and 'bother' you while you're at home trying to enjoy your day or peace and quiet...kinda like telemarketers. Nonetheless they have a message, a rather simple and clear message. It's basically: read the bible and understand it. That's basically what I've been doing for the past couple of months, something I've never done in all my years going to the Catholic church. The knowledge and message I've been missing! It's rather simple, read a book and digest it. It's a rather loaded book, no doubt, but the concept is the same as learning history or math. 1+1 should equal 2 and not 3. If the person teaching you tells you that the answer is 3 then, you later read in your book at home the answer is 2 and can deduce in your mind it's always 2 no matter how you write the numbers. What would you believe? If the 3-answer explained by your teacher is that you can't understand this with your human mind and should not try and put it in human terms...run the other way. After you try and explain to them their wrong of course.
