My itinerary has changed from New Orleans to Hickory, NC. So here I am in Hickory, NC, the furniture-making capitol of the world. Where's my couch? . Failure to communicate is the key to a disaster... .. I am full of ideas on how to break this down and break us down. It's simple process of denial, lies and hate. Hate being the wild-card. 7AM...68deg...88% humidity. I'm out to Griffin Regional Radiation Treatment Center. Last night I flew-in from DFW with a 1 hour delay due a young lady passing out in the aisle of the plane while holding her infant. The baby was OK though, but the mother was escorted off the plane with child which means our plane had to get back in-line on the runway and wait 55 min. to take-off. What do I do? I roll with broseph. Unpack the iPod and jam to Airport 5 for 50 min. This is really an attempt to the drown the lady next to me who seems to not have had an enjoyable experience inher life...especially this flight. I like the way some people unnecessarily embellish the facts. "No, that's not how it happened." Oh, well, her problem becomes my competition. We finally take-off and I accept my glass of water because that's what I want in return. Water in return. I am meeting my trainer for my first internal training. Eyes Wide Open, then shut, then open again.

It's been a long time since I have written in my blog. Not much has happened that I would care to put here, rather talk to people about. I have moved away from everyone I know and my family along with me...more on that later. I want to confess something. I recently traveled to Kentucky for work. It was in a beautiful part of the state, in or very near coal mining country. I arrived at night and could only see the snow covered mountains and trees only guessing how scenic the area would be in daylight...it would be another 2 days before I saw anything in daylight. I was on-site much longer than I should have been and this is where things turned negative for me. After training for 11 hours that next day I was quite tired, not physically, but mentally and not feeling very cheery or friendly. As a result I became very negative and thought quite lowly of the people I encountered and training at the hospital. This is a simple town with simple people leading simple lives.
